Pensions and social benefits will increase from January 1.
According to the Cabinet decision adopted today, 116 thousand socially unsecured families will get three bottles of olive oil each as a New Year present. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan assured that the social support for the unsecured families would be continuous. According to him, the 2012 budget provides for raising pensions and social benefits by 10% from January 1, “At the same time, the Cabinet has prepared a complex program of social support and we will regularly provide social support to needy families.”
