Recently “Regnum” agency, referring to its accurate sources, has spread information that Russian President Dmitri Medvedev will receive presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan on January 23-24 in Sochi. Official sources have not confirmed it yet, but they do not deny that information either.
In response to a question of Aravot.am what expectations there were, if the meeting of the presidents took place, nevertheless, Manvel Sargsyan, the head of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies, said, “Even if there is such a thing, it is not clear yet what the purpose of that meeting is, what the subject is. Therefore, what expectations can one talk about? I think everything will be much more serious, if they at least confirm the news about a meeting and publish the agenda of the issues they are going to discuss.”
