Vardan Bostanjyan, “Poor people who cannot achieve anything”

January 13,2012 18:43

Today Vardan Bostanjyan, a Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP, referring during a conversation with Aravot.am to yesterday’s statement by Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan that it didn’t matter from what party and how fat the people who were brought in were, said, “Aren’t there fat people in other parties? He touched not only our party, but theirs, i.e. the Republican Party, too. Is a man guilty that he is fat, has a physical discomfort or has no brains?”

In the MP’s words, troublemakers have been constantly exploiting the PAP criminals’ arrests lately, “According to the statistics, only 10% of the arrestees are members of PAP. Troublemakers do not speak of the other 90%, they speak only of the 10% and give a wrong idea that the police persecute PAP. All troublemakers, those tiny, need-for-nothing political forces, are poor people who can never achieve anything.”
