In response to actor Suren Danielyan’s (Yozh) statement about politicization of artists that “politician is like toilet paper, it is used and thrown away”, head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction Galust Sahakyan said during a conversation with Aravot.am today, “Good manners of the intelligentsia are distorted, usually the power of an intellectual is his ability pave the way and lead the society in that way, in order that the mentality doesn’t produce waste, but idea, in order that the society becomes more powerful and advances.”
He responded also to another statement of the actor that “the man who creates a law has the brain of a chimpanzee.” The head of the RPA faction responded, “Politicians are not results of talent, they usually struggle for years against chimpanzees, as well as bunnies and rabbits, therefore, sometimes they get unpleasant epithets in response.”
