Today the Georgian Minister for Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze addressed PACE and answered the questions of the delegates. During the online broadcast it was noticeable that after the sitting Zaruhi Postanjyan, the representative of the Heritage Party, approached and talked with him for 5 minutes.
The latter told Aravot.am over the phone that she had talked with Grigol Vashadze about national figure, prisoner of conscience Vahagn Chakhalyan, a resident of Javakhk who was in a Georgian jail.
Zaruhi Postanjyan told that she had sent a letter concerning Vahagn Chakhalyan, but she hadn’t gotten an answer, “I want to go and see him, he is in jail. I wanted to find out about that, they said as if they would give explanations, but I haven’t gotten a clear answer so far. Let’s wait and see whether they will fulfill the request or not.”
