The Armenian National Congress (ANC) Political Council meeting that lasted for 3 hours has just finished. As it has already been informed, the Congress Political Council was supposed to discuss the form of participation in the upcoming election during the meeting. Petros Makeyan, the Democratic Motherland Party leader, informed Aravot.am that they had unanimously decided that the Armenian National Congress would participate in the upcoming snap or regular election in an alliance, which will consist of ANC member-parties and socio-political organizations. “It seems they are inclined to a regular election”, said Petros Makeyan.

Aram Manukyan, the chairman of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (PANM) Management Committee, stated that some of the member-parties of ANC were against participating in the election at all. In this regard, Petros Makeyan clarified that he had been talking about technical problems, on which consensus had been reached. Mr. Makeyan also added that the only issue discussed had taken so much time that they had not managed to discuss any other issues.
