Didn’t Tsarukyan tell the President of the Republic of Armenia “as you wish”? (record)

February 01,2012 14:17

Today Aravot.am asked Vardan Bostanjyan, a Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) faction member, to give information so-called firsthand about the meeting of three coalition parties. We were interested, in particular, how the president of the republic and the PAP leader said goodbye to each other, whether Gagik Tsarukyan really, as it was published in the press, said to Serzh Sargsyan “as you wish.” According to Vardan Bostanjyan, “Without exaggeration, they said goodbye to each other very warmly. And that ‘as you wish’ phrase is a cunning one, the one who said that, just talked nonsense, you know? We don’t have the right to make way for cunningness. I don’t talk about political forces. Generally one should always look at the bright side. If somewhere lacks that, one should contribute to making it bigger, because evil causes evil.”

According to Mr. Bostanjyan’s commentary, the good was overwhelming at the meeting, “Certainly, there were different kinds of conversations about why they would say they were persecuted, do something… Those conversations were very healthy, very friendly. Naturally, there is a little bit of what they talk about. As the saying goes ‘there’s no smoke without fire.’ This was a meeting of using elements of restraint, in which case, isn’t it natural that basically however distinct interests the coalition forces have, nonetheless, there is one common interest, and that interest is the state interest.”
