Only Naira Zohrabyan was present in the National Assembly Hall from the PAP today and she read the following statement, “Taking into consideration the fact that yesterday Samvel Nikoyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly, arbitrarily deprived me of the possibility to present our faction’s opinion on the rules of procedure, taking into consideration the fact that the Speaker of the National Assembly and various Republican MPs made inappropriate assessments of the Prosperous Armenia Party both from this rostrum and by various mass media, I deem it necessary to clarify that our faction has expressed lots of times, during all discussions its explicitly opposing position and voted according to its beliefs, proving the identity between our words and deeds.
As for the elevated speeches about struggling against the coalition, furthermore, 5 years after the bill was put forward, it is clear for every one of us that this bill has nothing to do with the struggle against the coalition and the real purpose of the bill is to guarantee additional income of the banks that are in an advantageous position already, at the expense of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
By the way, I would advise titans of economic field to become familiar with both European and Russian experience and I think the real purpose of this bill and in whose interest it really is will be clear for everyone. I repeat, the Prosperous Armenia Party is against and will be against all attempts, aiming at robbing citizens of additional money under these hard social conditions.”
