Hovhannes Margaryan, a Rule of Law Party (RLP) MP, came to parliamentary briefings to tell that the news that he was offended by the RLP was a slander, “I have been an MP for 9 years and I haven’t been absent for a meeting in 9 years. When I was sick the other day, I didn’t come, I was in Gyumri. Today I have come by train, I have come specifically for taking part and I will not only deny, but also tell briefly the truth. The RLP is a home for me, I am a soldier of the party, Artur Baghdasaryan is not only the founding-leader of our home, but also my good friend and why not my brother. I recall, in 2003, when I was in 28th place on the party list and without a penny, Artur Baghdasaryan showed goodwill, 12 people applied and refused to take up a seat and I became a National Assembly member. Every Armenian man, in particular, resident of Gyumri must be a man of conscience and integrity, he cannot betray a person, he cannot betray a party that offered him such an opportunity.”
