Suren Sirunyan Wants to Become an MP

February 14,2012 17:55

Suren Sirunyan, a former prisoner of conscience convicted in regard to the Case of 7, may participate in the upcoming parliamentary election through majoritarian representation. During a conversation with Aravot.am, Sirunyan confirmed that information, adding that he will take that step only on one condition. Sirunyan doesn’t reveal the condition, on which he will be nominated, “I will say when nominations start.”

Let us remind that Sirunyan applied to the European Court of Human Rights to take his petition back. He was condemned after the events of March 1, 2008. Now there are controversies between the Armenian National Congress and Sirunyan.

Let us also remind that Sirunyan was Vano Siradeghyan’s chief bodyguard.
