Hugo and the Election in Hrazdan

February 15,2012 15:05

“What I saw in Hrazdan I have read in the books of Hugo and Kafka. Sometimes, I was confused, sometimes shocked, because I couldn’t imagine that I would witness such a scene. I faced poverty, need and consequences of emigration,” shared his impressions of the Hrazdan election Aram Manukyan, the leader of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (PANM), at the Hayatsk Club today.

According to him, many mentally disordered people came to the electoral districts. They couldn’t neither write, nor sign, nor walk, nor utter, nor express will, furthermore, there were 40-50 mentally disordered people on average in every district. Mr. Manukyan remembers Hugo that way, because he understood that emigration and poverty are the essential means for winning the election.

Besides remembering Hugo, the election reminded Aram Manukyan of Guzh Manukyan’s movie, “The police officers drove in a column with their blinkers on, they drove everywhere with their lights on. Do you remember Guzh Manukyan’s movie, where he was wandering around on a motorcycle to put prisoners under psychological pressure. These ones constantly wandered roaring like in that movie, in order to terrify the residents.” According to Mr. Manukyan, the number of not terrified people was 11.500 – those who voted for Sasun Mikayelyan.

The spokesperson was also convinced that the whole fraud was in the lists, “Even if you kill Mukuchyan, he will not make the lists public. I have got his ridiculous letters why they will not make the lists public. The lists are available to no one. One can only see himself whether he is on the list or not. As if you go to the movies in a group, but you go separately. The lists clean their fraud; the whole dirt is in the lists.”
