Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, a member of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party, Armenian National Congress (ANC) member, explains Vardan Oskanian’s love for the Prosperous Armenia Party also by the fact that it is possible that the Republican Party and the Prosperous Armenia reached an agreement to share the branches of power. “It is not ruled out that the Speaker of the National Assembly will be Vartan Oskanian in the future to ensure the support of that office,” said Mr. Yeghiazaryan.
He also joked, “Vardan Oskanian is the APPA of the relationship between Robik (Robert Kocharian – N.G.) and the others.”
