How Sasun Grabbed Prescott’s Jacket (Video)

February 17,2012 16:13

“They constantly say that is the reason why we are in such a condition,” Sasun Mikayelyan responded to the statement of the US ambassador to the Republic of Armenia that “some positive signs” were noticed at the Hrazdan election.

He recalled, “When we were sitting, I don’t remember it was Columbier or Prescott, I pulled his jacket and said ‘sit down – you are the first to blame that this country is in such a condition.’ You sit on an airplane and say that the election is in line with the democratic standards and we get into trouble. Those superpowers have their own interest, they act by their interest.”

Aravot.am reminded Sasun Mikayelyan that he had stated at his latest rally that he would be sitting in the Hrazdan mayor’s office on February 13 and sent a message to the “top brass,” “Be careful, I am coming.” We inquired whether after those decisive words and election results, the people were not disappointed now. The response was, “I said that people who had worked conscientiously would remain and work and people who had taken the office for their own interest, had to leave. I am not like them to make people serve me.”
