We have been hearing stories from the residents of the biggest neighborhood in Gyumri, Ani, that the PAP members knock at doors like Jehovah’s Witnesses and explicitly spread propaganda by the slogan “Tsarukyan is the best, isn’t he?” for a few days. They have managed to be in all buildings on Aram Khachatryan St. – 29, 30, 31 – at 31 Minas Avetisyan St., including the apartment of the journalist reporting.
According to our interlocutors, the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) members ostensibly make voting lists clear, clarify the number of family members, but they also clarify who is going to vote for the PAP and who for the Republican Party, for Martun Grigoryan, the PAP Shirak office manager nominated for majoritarian representation in no. 34 electoral district, or for president of FC Shirak Arman Sahakyan, endorsed by Republicans. According to the residents of the neighborhood, the PAP members care for neither the snowstorm, nor the fact that there are families, members of which represent other parties.
Such an incident took place at one of the Gyumri maternity hospital medical workers’ home – only his retired mother was at home, whom they tried to convince to join the PAP.

By the way, the PAP members have knocked at the doors of the ANC activists too – e.g., Karapet Poghosyan’s door who lives at 21 Minas Avetisyan St., Apt. 53, also at Vahag Khachatryan’s door, 4 Seventh St., Apt. 16. “They were inquiring from me who I would vote for, Martun Grigoryan or Arman Sahakyan, I answered for our ANC candidate. It is annoying that they go from door to door before the official campaign’s start ostensibly clarifying the list. If they want to clarify the list, they should apply to the Central Electoral Commission or the police, guess my parents are in Moscow today, they will be in Armenia on the election day. What is this – they knock at everyone’s door and spread propaganda and then check off their candidate’s name,” ANC member Vahag Khachatryan was irritated.
