Disgraceful Commercial With 6 Violations (Video)

February 23,2012 12:22

–         I tell you for the third time, get off the table!

–         Then, what? Don’t you know whose son I am?

After this “pleasant” conversation between a teacher and a student at school, the teacher, seeing that she cannot call the ill-bred boy who has squatted down on the table and is champing gum to order, turns around and slams him on the face, knocking him down. And the student, saying, “I’ll give you what for!” calls his papa to send someone to school.

The classmates of the ill-bred boy, seeing the teacher’s “courage,” stand up and applaud.

This is not an episode of another Armenian TV series; this is just a commercial, which is shown on our TV channels, including the Public Television, these days.

The plot of the video ends in the following, “They say it is easier to be fearless, when you are ensured by Ingo Armenia. Ingo Armenia, we always pay.”

Let us mention that according to the Advertisement Act, the language of a commercial is formal written Armenian.

According to Article 6, Section 6, “The commercial, in which calls for violence, aggressiveness, panic, as well as violation of international moral standards are used, is banned and perceived illegal.”

According to Section 8, a commercial, in which there are calls and arguments threatening the life, health or security of consumer, is banned.

According to Article 14 of the act, commercials, in which there are audio or video episodes that can impose physical or psychological harm on minors, are banned.

According to Section 3 of the same article, commercials, in which the reputation of parents and teachers and the trust of minors in them are ruined, are banned.

And in the end, audio, video or any other use of minors’ characters in a commercial, if it isn’t related to goods for minors, is banned.

Regardless of all these violations, taking into account that Ingo Armenia “always pays,” a question arises whether the company will be ready to pay a huge administrative fine, which is provided for by the law for both those who have made the commercial and those who have broadcasted it, given these violations.
