Sculptor Levon Tokmajyan doesn’t believe the statements that the new National Assembly will be a degree better than the present parliament. “What I see today, how they gather around the strong ones – as the saying goes small fish stick to sharks. I don’t believe there can be a good one. I would believe, if everyone put forward a program. Today they lack programs, what will we do in the future? Everyone talks about the majoritarian and proportional representation today. That issue should have been resolved long ago. What a question is it that they are ready to kill each other for it today,” Mr. Tokmajyan said during a conversation with www.aravot.am.
He is convinced that the MPs that have nothing to say and push buttons instead of others will be the majority in the new parliament, “They don’t care for issues, they only care for their wealth. This is my notion of our National Assembly. As for the new one, we see what happens today. The one who gives more money is the good one.”
