First President Levon Ter-Petrossian used to come to the Armenian National Congress (ANC) rallies 10-15 minutes late and today the president came to Freedom Square at 8 minutes to 6. The president started to talk with the members of the ANC central office. A snowdrop was pinned to the president’s coat. www.aravot.am inquired who had given that snowdrop to Levon Ter-Petrossian. “Sapeyan Zhora, aka ‘Talin Hawk,’” said the president and walked to the stand, saying “the revolution of snowdrops.”
The people gathered welcomed Ter-Petrossian, chanting “Le-von, Le-von” and applauding. The ANC rally hasn’t commenced yet.
