The list of guilty of March 1 made public at the ANC rally yesterday by Nikol Pashinyan was not a surprise for RPA MP Artak Zakaryan. When www.aravot.am asked for a comment from Mr. Zakaryan, he said, “Firstly I have to understand why Levon Ter-Petrossian doesn’t lead that list and then I can answer and make a comment.” Shortly afterwards, Mr. Zakaryan commented that when the ANC list was made public, they would make a list of guilty of March 1 out of that list, because they knew quite well which of them had made what kind of calls on that day.
By the way, many MPs of the RPA assured during a conversation with us that they hadn’t followed the ANC rally and they didn’t care what speech the first president had made. Artak Zakaryan responded to the same question whether he had followed the ANC rally, whether he was aware of Levon Ter-Petrossian’s speech, “No, of course, I haven’t.” We tried to find out why “of course,” whether it was shameful for an RPA MP to follow the ANC rally, Mr. Zakaryan responded, “I had more important things to do and I was busy with them.”
