Presently the most discussed topic is the Legal Regime of the State of Emergency Act and implications of it. As we know, the bill was passed on first reading by the National Assembly on March 1. The press and the electronic mass media are full of materials, the majority of which reflect the negative attitude to passing the bill. The majority of the opposition and generally parties operating in Armenia seriously oppose passing the bill as it is now. The opposition argues that the establishment wants to pass the bill in its present form, in order to ensure itself, since the law provides for the army’s participation in the internal political processes.
www.aravot.am tried to find out what our citizens thought about this through a quiz. Let us mention that all the people participating in the quiz were unanimously against the army’s involvement in the political processes. According to the majority of them, it will be like the son against his father.
