“The governor is not engaged in propaganda, he just holds working meetings with collectives. That’s all,” said Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Ashot Ghahramanyan, the governor of Armavir, in response to a question of www.aravot.am why he had engaged in propaganda before time. Let us remind that there were publications in the press recently that the governor of Armavir had had meetings with various collectives, during which the governor had done explanatory work, “agreements” had been reached on the upcoming election.
The governor of Armavir claims that no propaganda has taken place during these meetings, “We discussed fundamental issues. We all know and realize quite well what the law provides for. We will engage in propaganda when the law permits it. In the meantime, ‘evil tongues’ say certain things, which do not correspond to the reality.”
