In response to a question of www.aravot.am from which party she would like to get an offer, DJ Vakctina stated, “If I say the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), you will criticize me. I highly appreciate the work of three parties – the RPA, the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and the United Liberal National Party (MIAK). I have always seen these parties as positively influencing the country. I, however, am more disposed to the RPA – I am not mercenary and don’t seek power, I am just ideologically closer to the RPA. I am absolutely against our opposition just for personal reasons since those bad years, which had a bad impact both on my family and many other people. Perhaps that made my inclination toward the authorities more intense.” In response to the observation whether our National Assembly needed a DJ, our interlocutor said, “Our National Assembly doesn’t need a DJ or exactly me, but it needs young people, since our country belongs to the youth. People who deal with the issues of the youth, who think about them, who have a certain influence over them are needed. People who will talk on behalf of the youth, will raise issues concerning them are needed. And the rumors about my becoming an MP are also because many young people want their problems to be talked about and want to see me there (in the parliament). And after all, I would not go to the National Assembly as a DJ, I would go there as a person who is from among the youth.”
DJ Vakctina stated that she did things that young people needed, “I will continue doing those things both as DJ Vakctina and as Arusik Mkrtchyan, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, regardless of whether I will get to the National Assembly tomorrow or not.”
