Yerevan Press Club presented the results of monitoring carried out in 9 mass media in the period from March 1 through March 10 at Urbat Club today. The Club has noticed some progress as compared with the results of  November-December.

According to Yerevan Press Club president Boris Navasardyan, as a result of the 10 days’ research, they registered decline in assessments. In November-December, the assessments accounted for 10%, whereas according to the March data, they have decreased to 7%.

In his words, Kentron TV Channel is the most active, which has talked about parties the most and Shant has talked about them the least.

B. Navasardyan said that the most balanced reporting was on Public Radio and H2.

Yerkir Media, on which the Armenian Revolutionary Federation prevailed, and Kentron, on which the Prosperous Armenia was overwhelming, have reported on parties the most.

The least assessment-including reports after those of Shant are reports of Yerkir Media, H2 and the Public Radio.

Mr. Navasardyan explains the decline in assessments by the decline in amount of concealed advertisement, “During these 10 days we haven’t noticed concealed advertisement, it is a progress, because such materials were many in November-December.”
