Canvassing has already commenced in Kapan. We regularly receive phone calls that supporters of a certain party canvass for votes. They take passports, I should say copies of passports, from acquaintances, relatives, neighbors, they do it even in educational institutions. It turns out that active work aims at knowing and guaranteeing in advance how many votes they will get on the election day, May 6. “They wanted to take the copy of my passport too, I gave it, they said it was for the election, in order that they knew how many people were going to vote for them. It was an acquaintance and I didn’t refuse and gave it. Anyway, I will go and vote for whom I want on the election day. The bad thing is that there still are naïve voters who think that they cannot vote for someone else, because those people have their passport data – they deceive people,” said a resident of Kapan, who didn’t want to introduce himself.
