The National Assembly has passed the Legal Regime of the State of Emergencybill on third reading. The main reporter, Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan, said that there had been no proposals between the second and third readings.
The bill was passed by 67 yeas, 0 nays and 0 abstained. Larisa Alaverdyan, the secretary of the Heritage Party said after the vote that there were 63 people in the hall and demanded to preserve the outcome of the vote. After her statement the majoritarian MPs immediately left the hall.
“This movement proves that this process is coordinated,” noted Larisa Alaverdyan. She demanded to find the vote results void, but Eduard Sharmazanov presiding at the meeting denied the proposal reasoning that she hadn’t mentioned any particular MP, instead of whom someone else had voted. Larisa Alaverdyan continued to object, in response to which, Mr. Sharmazanov said, “The election campaign hasn’t started yet. Let us continue our work peacefully.”
