Active pre-election asphalt works have been carried out in various neighborhoods of the administrative districts of the capital these days.
In Armenakyan St., the central street of Nork-Marash administrative district, they had cut the asphalt in some places, in order to fill.
One of the residents of this community Karen Aristakesyan who had alerted www.aravot.am was displeased that they were repairing asphalt only on the main street, disregarding the secondary streets. In the resident’s words, the other streets are not less busy and considering the factor of turns, the risk on those streets was bigger, “9th street also badly needs repairing and leads to the Orthopedic Hospital. There are holes at every turn on that street and drivers slow down, in order not to smash their cars into pieces. Thousands of cars, including ambulances, drive on that street every day. However, no one considers that factor and they lay asphalt only on the road leading to the Nork-Marash neighborhood administration.”
