“The Republican Party faces a problem of not only not improving, but also absolutely humiliating the National Assembly and disgracing the Armenian statehood,” today Nikol Pashinyan, the editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper, made such a statement. Galust Sahakyan, the leader of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction, talked about this statement during a conversation with www.aravot.am, “The policy adopted by the opposition is that they think they become colorful or change color by blackening the interlocutor. We have already stated once that we don’t even have time to respond to such meaningless opinions. The Republican Party has taken on a task to make people with such colorless, meaningless and fruitless approaches change their position, in order they may not look so funny. Besides, tell him to use Armenian words for me to answer him in Armenian.” In response to Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) faction leader Vahan Hovhannisyan’s statement about the “disappointing list of the RPA,” “I suggest you read the names of their candidates for majoritarian representation and look at their photos,” Mr. Sahakyan advised, “Let every party look at its own list and suffer from its own pain. Moreover, if we zoom, we may see more outrageous facts concerning others than they think there are concerning us.”
