The Rule of Law Party (RLP) and the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Couldn’t Make One Example of Problems They Had Solved in the Field of Science (Video)

March 30,2012 14:46

The majority of the political parties participating in the parliamentary election have already presented their political programs. As every year, those programs mention, however little, solutions to the problems existing in the field of science.

Various political forces sometimes take a rather opposition stance on the lack of financing and other problems in the field of science to gain dividends. And those forces are not only in the opposition camp, but also inside the coalition. Therefore, www.aravot.am inquired from PAP representative Mikayel Melkumyan and RLP representative Hovhannes Vahanyan what prevented their parties from solving the problems that they had mentioned in their previous programs during the five years that they had been in the National Assembly. Both figures started to complain that the lack of representation in the National Assembly and in the Cabinet prevented them.

When www.aravot.am asked the representatives of the partner-parties in the coalition to mention just one problem in the field of science that they had managed to solve, they couldn’t do that and tried to avoid answering the question expressing other ideas. M. Melkumyan said that their MPs had actively worked in the National Assembly and H. Vahanyan said that problems were not solved overnight.
