Lyudmila Sargsyan About Perkuperkyan’s Application to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) (Recording)

April 02,2012 16:52

“There is a functioning executive committee of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) and I have been re-elected, I am the current chairman,” Lyudmila Sargsyan, the chairman of the SDHP, repeated again during a conversation with www.aravot.am, talking about the application of  Gevorg Perkuperkyan, the self-styled chairman of the SDHP, to the CEC, by which G. Perkuperkyan demanded from the commission to deny registering L. Sargsyan as a candidate for MP.

G. Perkuperkyan informed by his application that Lyudmila Sargsyan had been expelled from the party for anti-party activities as early as in 2009, during the 7th snap convention of the party, but continued to present herself as the chairman of the SDHP executive committee and didn’t hand over the party seal, using it to seal various “false documents.”

Ms. Sargsyan said that the content of the application had made her smile, “The fact that they have been registered in the state register with false protocols is the business of the Ministry of Justice that should have revealed that falsification and should have voided the registration. However, since we don’t really have justice and they are unable to make literate examinations, because they are not qualified for that, and to make a decision, we have filed a petition in the court. And Gevorg Perkuperkyan is nobody. They do everything not to let us enter the National Assembly as the SDHP, understanding quite well that if we represent the real SDHP in the parliament, their possibilities to dispute my being the chairman will be crashed.”
