In response to another question what had shown the meeting with voters in Abovyan, A. Avagyan said, “Everyone was interested, since many people thought that the party had just been established. Avagyan said, “The Republican Party is pro-government, since the life has shown that they have governed for many years and people are displeased with this party to a certain extent.” In response to an observation of www.aravot.am that the participation of not so well-known parties as the United Armenians Party in the election was encouraged by the ruling party, in order to steal votes from others by that, R. Avagyan said, “There can be no such thing. Our participation in the election is only for scientists’ participation in passing laws, in order that it may be done not at the amateur level, but at the professional level.”
