Satik Seyranyan nominated in no. 4 electoral district met with residents of Kanaker Hydroelectric Power Plant in the community of Arabkir today. Ms. Seyranyan told the people gathered that she didn’t promise to repair elevators, to asphalt yards and streets. She offered to be the one who would raise the issues of the residents of Arabkir in the parliament, “I cannot utter words, for which I will not be responsible… either elected or not elected I will continue making your voice heard, I am ready to be your mediator and representative in the parliament.”
Later on, during a conversation with journalists, she said that everyone – from the neighborhood administration to the Presidential Palace – worked on making Artak Sargsyan,
the pro-government candidate, an MP, “The pro-government candidate hasn’t uttered a word so far, no one knows what he thinks, whether he has anything to say or not. The pro-government candidate has pinned his hopes on money.” In Ms. Sayranyan’s words, she has revealed many false voters after examining voting lists, “There are people registered in the regions, false voters, dead people, cemetery votes… we met with the long-term monitoring group of the OSCE yesterday and presented all main problems to them – what technologies were prepared, how they intimidated people, that they would check, if they took money and voted for another person.”

Satik Seyranyan said that she saw healthy political struggle between her and two opposition candidates – Aram Manukyan from the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and Zaruhi Postanjyan from the Heritage Party, “I am convinced that they will not employ election fraud and since the pro-government candidate employs such methods, I will struggle against election fraud – i.e. the pro-government candidate.”
Let us remind that besides the Heritage Party and the ANC candidates, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) candidate Artak Sargsyan, the owner of SAS Company, was also nominated in this electoral district.
