In response to a question of Aravot whether the Heritage Party conducted its own public opinion polls, in order to clarify its expectations, Raffi Hovhannisyan, the Heritage Party leader, said that they hadn’t ordered a public opinion poll as such, but their fellow party members or individuals conducted mini-polls and clarification of expectations took place during the meetings with voters. Anyway, Raffi Hovhannisyan “humbly and modestly” voices 25%, although Anahit Bakhshyan, a Heritage Party MP, on the other hand, says 50%. Mr. Hovhannisyan thinks the votes of the Heritage Party will be in between these numbers.
On May 1, the Heritage Party invites its supporters to Freedom Square for a concert-triumph with participation of Ruben Hakhverdyan and Dzakh Harut.
As the Heritage Party leader stated during a press conference today, they “have never been obsessed” with big rallies, “We attach importance to every meeting with our supporters in every square and at every crossroads, the method of our election campaign is to go from one person to another, from one citizen to another, big rallies have not been the path we have chosen. However, on May 1 there will be our triumph and you will see our ordinary voters. In the meantime, tomorrow, on April 24, the Heritage Party will not do any campaign, will not hand
out booklets, there will be only a silent march from Freedom Square to Tsitsernakaberd Complex.”
