This April, a 0.9% increase in prices of food commodities was registered in the republic as compared to those of March. This is registered by the National Statistical Service (NSS). Gas and diesel fuel became more expensive in April by respectively 5.8% and 2.3%. Clothing, shoes and washing agents also became more expensive.
The highest increase in prices was registered in Vagharshapat, Hrazdan and Charentsavan. According to the statisticians’ data, in April, the prices of horticultural commodities decreased by 2.0%, the prices of fuel decreased by 0.3%, the prices of drugs decreased by 0.1% as compared to those of March.
In the field of services provided to the population, the NSS registered an increase of tariffs by 0.1% in April as compared to March, which is conditional on the fact that tariffs of different personal services increased by 0.2%, the prices of public food by 0.3%, of transportation by 0.5%, of recreation by 1.3%.
Tariffs of legal services and banking, cultural services decreased in the mentioned period, respectively by 0.3% and 0.1% and tariffs of public services, healthcare, communication and educational system didn’t change as compared to the previous month.
