According to candidate for MP Ruben Hayrapetyan, the pre-election period has been peaceful and normal. He doesn’t agree that pro-government candidates have prevented the work of opposition candidates in this period or have used violence, “Some candidates for MP have a task of self-assertion, they try to intrigue. The same Nikol Pashinyan did everything, in order that Samvel Alexanyan might beat him up, but we have a clear order that it is not allowed, we have taken on a task that we should conduct the best election.”
In Mr. Hayrapetyan’s words, yesterday Heritage Party candidate for MP Stepan Safaryan stated that Hayrapetyan’s supporters had prevented their work in Avan, “And he came and recognized those supporters in the police station – there were two 13-year-old kids. How can those kids be my supporters…? Did I tell a 13-year-old kid to tear up a booklet?”
Mr. Hayrapetyan also said that the election wasn’t worth to become enemies of each other.
