On May 1, at around 11 a.m., a VAZ-2107 entered the bordering village of Dovegh. They fired a shot from the car, killed a cock, put it in the car and left.
Samvel Gorginyan, the village headman, said that there was a Russian license plate in front of the car and there was no license plate in the back – they found a piece of lead left from the fired bullet. The village headman said that he had applied to the police station of Noyemberyan in regard to the case.
The Dovegh headman also communicated that after firing at Dovegh from the Azerbaijani side for 45 minutes on April 25, a parent of one of the students studying at the village elementary school refused to send his child to the elementary school. Emila Durinyan, the principal of the school, told us that as a result of the fear after Azerbaijanis had fired at the elementary school, one of the students had begun to stammer.
Residents of Dovegh complain that after the village was fired at, no official has come to the village, that visiting Noyemberyan on the next day of the firing, April 26, President Serzh Sargsyan didn’t visit Dovegh located 5km away, he said nothing about Dovegh in his speech made in Noyemberyan, he didn’t encourage the residents of Dovegh.
