The One Who Had Been Convicted for Election Fraud Was the Head of the Polling Station Commission Again

Hamlet Avalyan, the head of the staff secretariat at the regional administration of Tavush, was put, along with two heads of polling station commissions of Ijevan, on probation for 3 years for rigging the results of the election for the mayor of Ijevan on December 16, 2007, according to Article 149, Section 2, Clause 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (“impeding a proxy”) and Article 150 (“rigging election results”).

Hamlet Amalyan headed no. 41/23 polling station electoral commission located in No. 1 School of Ijevan during the parliamentary election that took place on May 6, 2012.
