www.aravot.am inquired from Ruben Hayrapetyan, the president of the Football Federation of Armenia and an RPA member elected MP, whether the PAP and the RPA would form a coalition again, in his opinion. Mr. Hayrapetyan responded, “It is not desirable, but I don’t know, it is not clear yet. We don’t need it. The Republican Party doesn’t need a coalition. If it asks nicely, we may allow. If they ask nicely, beg to give them a chance to prove themselves, maybe. However I don’t know yet whether the Republicans will allow that.”
Assessing the election and commenting on the complaints of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) that the RPA had won seats through election bribery, Mr. Hayrapetyan said, “What can the ANC say? The ANC and Levon Ter-Petrossian talk about the same thing all the time.”
