The name of the winner of “Be one of Cannes stars” is known. He is 20-years-old Sargis Baghdasaryan from Yerevan who had written the following status: “Cannes – immortalizing cinema and the abode of genius, but forever young, like its famous Palme D’Or. Orange – the creator and nurturer of my dream to be a part of that magical show of cinema.” At the ceremony of awards at Orange Flagship store, Orange Armenia CEO Bruno Duthoit gave the coveted prize – VIP package for two at 65th Cannes Film Festival. Sargis will be in Cannes on May 24.
From April 27 to 7 May all Orange voice and internet subscribers were provided the chance to get a package for two to be present as a VIP guest at 65th Cannes Film Festival. Subscribers just needed to participate in an original contest of “statuses”, organized on Orange Armenia’s page on Facebook and become the author of the best status. The ten “statuses” with maximum Facebook-votes (Like) were presented to Orange Jury who defined the best one.
Other participants present at the ceremony, who were the authors of the “top 10” popular statuses, received surprise gifts from Orange and “Moscow” cinema: cinema subscription for two for 6 months.

Total 176 persons participated in the contest who all together collected 13,088 “likes”, out of which – 7,670 the top 10 alone.
Orange is the official partner of Cannes Film Festival since more than 10 years. In Armenia, it’s already the third year Orange offers its customers the possibility to participate in the festival as a VIP guest.
