Different representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party governing body stated earlier that they would convey the official opinion of the party on the results of the May 6 parliamentary election and would make it public after the final results of the election were published.
On Sunday, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Armenia made public the final results of the election, but the PAP hasn’t rushed to make its official opinion. Presumably, the party should have conveyed a meeting of the party political council today or tomorrow and should have determined its position, particularly, given the fact that meanwhile different representatives of the PAP have expressed different “personal” opinions on the further steps of the PAP. However, during a conversation with www.aravot.am, Naira Zohrabyan who is responsible for the canvassing group of the party said that the PAP would still keep the post-election silence within the next 4-5 days.
