Rapper H.T. Hayko sings a new song about Mashtots Park, the protest of the Bryusov students and generally about freedom fighters. The song is a protest against today’s reality, the lost patience of people and real freedom. During a conversation with www.aravot.am, rapper H.T. Hayko, answering a question why he had decided to sing such a song, said, “I have had many songs on those subjects, I have gone into the subject of struggle. And this is global; here it is not only about Mashtots Park or the Bryusov students. However, this song was to encourage them, the Bryusov students, in particular. So, I have decided to do something to encourage those young people.”

In response to an observation that he had actually joined the struggle of Mashtots Park and the Bryusov students, the rapper said, “You can say so, yes. I am ready to do what I can for the sake of ideas I think are right. I haven’t looked into the educational system, I know neither Zolyan, nor the others, I just appreciate human freedom. I actually don’t care for things that are related to the educational system, I only care for the rights of young people – so, I am for them

to have the right to speak, struggle, particularly if everything is within the limits of the law. My song is not against anyone, it is not against Minister Ashotyan, I don’t want to personify, I have no doubts that Ashotyan is a good man, particularly given the fact that I am not against him in any way.”
