Filishin LLC operating in the village of Haghartsin, the region of Tavush, builds President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan’s villa on the Sevan Peninsula, on the opposite side of the Sevan Monastery. We don’t know whether that villa is state or privately owned.
“For what money is the president’s villa built?” we asked Suren Hakobyan, the director of the Filishin LLC. He responded that it was financed by a foundation of Armenians living in Moscow, that “it is a gift for our country,” 90% of the work was done, Filishin was engaged in construction and reconstruction there.
We asked the director of Filishin to name the foundation that carried out the construction of the villa, S. Hakobyan said that such questions “are inconvenient” for him, he was just a representative of a construction company, he also asked why we were not interested in the construction in the town of Dilijan, which was bigger in scale.
