During his latest interviews, Aram Karapetyan, the New Times Party (NTP) leader, treated rather skeptically the prospect of PAP’s getting rid of the coalition, expressing a conviction that Gagik Tsarukyan would choose the way of “arturbaghdasaryanization.” At the same time the NTP leader stated that it was not ruled out that the PAP might reject the coalition, if there was “pressure from outside.” Today, answering a question of www.aravot.am whether he had been surprised at the statement of the PAP, Mr. Karapetyan said, “As far as I remember, it is the only case, when the PAP showed a political face and made a political statement. I welcome it very much, if, certainly, this is not a game related to Robert Kocharyan’s role and prospect. In that case, all this can play a serious role in the short run.”
