It was hard for Artashes Geghamyan, a Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP, to answer the question whether the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) would become an opposition or would join the coalition some time after and he didn’t comment on the news that the PAP pretended to be an opposition, in order to canvass for the government in the presidential election. “Where is it easier to fulfill the promises, which were made by every party represented in the National Assembly, before the election – being in the government, in the opposition camp or in the constructive field? I think that if there is governmental leverage, it seems that issues regarding a certain social sphere are easier to solve,” Mr. Geghamyan said to www.aravot.am.
