The latest report of the PACE Bureau Interim Committee contained strict assessments of the National Assembly election. Let us remind that this report is drawn up by the monitoring mission headed by Baroness Emma Nicholson, a member of the PACE, based on their observation carried out on May 6. Republicans don’t agree with these assessments of the international observers. RPA MP Artak Zakaryan commented on the report in the following manner during a conversation with www.aravot.am, “This election considerably differed from all previous parliamentary elections and I think that no report can cast a shadow on a clear, transparent and public action carried out by the whole people.” We inquired whether those assessments hadn’t been objective, Mr. Zakaryan responded, “I think that there are some subjective elements.”
