Today, www.aravot.am asked Gagik Minasyan, an RPA MP, what he thought about the statement of their coalition partner RLP’s MP that the political forces that had won the most votes had handed out election bribe. Ishkhan Khachatryan expressed such an opinion. In Mr. Minasyan’s words, “I think that the MP you have mentioned made a mistake, I think you should refer to him for a commentary.”
In response to our observation that Ms. Bisharyan had confirmed those words, Mr. Minasyan said, “I think you should also refer to Ms. Bisharyan. I think that the latest election was really much better than all the previous elections and from that perspective, it is not only my assessment. It is also the assessment of the international observers and it is also the assessment of our society.” We tried to clarify whether the assessment of the international observers had been better, because the latest report of the PACE had contained strong criticism, Mr. Minasyan responded in the following manner, “Certainly, no doubt. If you compare it with the previous
reports, you will see that it is incomparably better, incomparably.” In response to our question why his colleagues assessed it as not objective, in that case, Mr. Minasyan said, “Everyone has the right to express his opinion.”
