The Security of the Border in Tavush Has Been Strengthened

After the acts of sabotage carried out by the Azerbaijani military forces lately, the security of the border with Azerbaijan has been strengthened. According to our information, the border guards carry out the duty in a high state of readiness.

On June 7, Seyran Ohanyan, the Minister of Defense, arrived on the borderline of the region of Tavush and learned about the situation on the borders.

Let us mention that the Voskepar-Baghanis sector of the highway between Ijevan and Noyemberyan is closed for security reasons, those who drive on the intergovernmental road are compelled to take the bypass road of Harsnakar that extends through the mountainous area.
