“It is very interesting that they run after pun now,” Tigran Urikhanyan, the press secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) responded in this manner, when www.aravot.am inquired whether the motto of the PAP and Gagik Tsarukyan “Our words match our deeds” had anything to do with necessarily endorsing Serzh Sargsyan in the presidential election, because RPA MP Artak Davtyan had reminded about that, saying that the PAP had made a promise to endorse Serzh Sargsyan not orally, but even in written.
In Tigran Urikhanyan’s words, “The one who concludes and judges whether the mottos of the PAP match its deeds and given that shows attitude, including
during elections, is the people – the society and the public. And not some interested personalities who try to interpret a certain term given their own or political interests and purposes. Our words have matched, match and will always match our deeds in the same format as the people who trust us, our society, the country’s population and the people see and want to continue seeing. We don’t wish to comment on misuses of that subject.”
And in Naira Zohrabyan’s words, “All, endless, stubborn questions of mass media about the presidential election will get the same answer – when the Prosperous Armenia Party deems it is appropriate to talk about the 2013 presidential election, it will talk.”
