Not 2, but 3 Doctors Were Beaten up at Harsnakar

Major Vahe Avetyan, a military doctor and the head of the department of otolaryngology, who was violently beaten up at Harsnakar went through another surgery tonight. Lieutenant Colonel of medical service Hayk Antonyan, the head of the resuscitation department of the Muratsan Military Hospital, told www.aravot.am about this today. In his words, “We performed more serious surgery tonight and the residual nidi have been cleared. However, Vahe’s condition remains extremely critical.”

And the medical condition of the other victim, Artak Badayan, a microsurgeon of the neurosurgery department of the military hospital and a captain of the Ministry of Defense, remains critical but stable.

Doctor Hayk Antonyan communicated that another victim had emerged today regarding the events that had taken place at Harsnakar yesterday – First Lieutenant Garik Soghomonyan, a resident, who just went home on the first day, didn’t see a doctor, but today it turned out that he had gotten a severe brain concussion. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informed www.aravot.am that the case had been transferred to the investigation agency of the Ministry of Defense.

Let us remind that the incident took place on June 17, at Harsnakar Restaurant belonging to member of the National Assembly Ruben Hayrapetyan, the security of which violently beat up the doctors, because they had entered the restaurant wearing training suits.
