Today www.aravot.am inquired of National Assembly member Samvel Alexanyan whether he often visited Harsnakar, what he wore, whether he always entered wearing a suit. He responded, “No, but I don’t go to a restaurant wearing a training suit, I never do that.” He assured that he entered Harsnakar dressed up, “I don’t wear a training suit, when I go to a restaurant.”
We also inquired if his friend Ruben Hayrapetyan was decisive in terms of punishing the offenders, he replied, “Ruben Hayrapetyan has fired everyone.” It was hard for Mr. Alexanyan to say how many people he had dismissed, “I don’t know, my darling, I know only that he has dismissed everyone, I cannot say how many. Both Hayrapetyan and I have workers, both Hayrapetyan and I have relatives. Why are we to blame, if our workers or relatives do bad things?”
We also inquired how he would act, if a similar thing happened at Parvana, he responded, “Frankly speaking, when we had just opened the restaurant, if we hadn’t watched over it, such things might have happened also at our restaurant. It didn’t happen, because we prevented it in advance.” In response to a question how they had prevented it, he said, “Well, we did so that such things wouldn’t happen anymore. A few incidents happened at our restaurant too, it is not like that nothing happened at our restaurant, it happened.” In response to an observation that he should have told Hayrapetyan about his methods, he said, “How could Mr. Hayrapetyan have known that such a thing would happen?”
In response to a question what he would have done if he had been Ruben Hayrapetyan, Samvel Alexanyan said, “As Mr. Hayrapetyan did firing the workers. We will do so that such incidents do not happen anymore.” In response to a question whether it had been right not to visit the military doctors as a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, as an MP, Mr. Alexanyan said the following, “Hayrapetyan will go. We will go too.” We also inquired whether there hadn’t been a case when his bodyguards, his security officers had beaten someone up to defend his honor, he said, “My darling, I also had problems in the past, you probably know that, it happens, that is life, there are hardships, everything happens. We also sober up.”

Regarding the Covered Marketplace, Mr. Alexanyan stated that the new explosion that had taken place in the vicinity had nothing to do with the marketplace, “An engine of a car wash was started, there was a sound, so it has nothing to do with the marketplace.” In response to a question when the case of the marketplace would be concluded, he didn’t mention specific time, saying, “When we conclude it.”
