Reading the Press in the National Assembly Continues

June 22,2012 12:12

When the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MPs were filling out crosswords and reading papers during the discussion and vote on the License Bill or the Registration of Property Rights Bill today, it was assumed that they were just not interested in the subject.

However, a heated discussion started afterwards on increasing or not increasing the highest amount of water yearly released from Lake Sevan this year.

The Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) MPs asked active and cross questions to find out whose business needed the water and some of few RPA MPs present in the hall were doing something else again.

Artashes Geghamyan moved to Russian newspapers after Armenian ones, while Shushan Petrosyan started to read the domestic press.

You can see the empty seats of the RPA and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MPs in the photo. The discussion continues.
