Today Vardges Gaspari, an Armenian National Congress (ANC) activist, also participated in the march with chants like “Involve Ruben Hayrapetyan as a suspect in the case of doctors beaten up at Harsnakar.” He demanded from police officers outside the prosecutor’s office to close the traffic on the streets leading to the prosecutor’s office and not getting a response, he threw himself on a car moving down the street. Mr. Gaspari expressed an opinion that police officers’ functions were confined to only fining citizens who had violated the law, but, “When there is lawlessness and bodyguards, security officers beat people up, these police officers hide in the bush.”
